I wonder what Goodell will do... I wonder if he comes down on Vick harder than Pacman... But if Vick goes to jail Goodell won't have to do anything at all.
This guy is so guilty! Even if he didn't know there were dog fights going on on his property, IT IS STILL HIS PROPERTY AND HE IS RESPONIBLE FOR WHAT GOES ON ON IT. Plus, he had like what 50 pitbulls? Thats a little weird. I also have two dogs and I couldn't imagine anybody hanging them, electricuting them, throwinng them on the ground till they die. If he is found guilty, you have to kick this guy out of the NFL. Lock him up and throw away the key.
I just saw a statement in Pro Football Weekly's season preview issue where they predicted that Goodell was looking for someone to be the NFLs "Pete Rose". Someone to make an example of so all the other players would see that they will not tolerate this crap...well they have him now. See ya Pete!
After listening to some things, it looks like Roger Goodell's not going to do anything - he said "we're not going to suspend him right now." "Right now" means he's going to let Arthur Blank give him a leave of absence or something. If Blank doesn't do anything, Goodell will.
The Humane Society and PETA are both organizing massive protests if Vick is allowed to play a single down in 2007. Also remember that Blank owns Home Depot. How many dog lovers will stay away from that store if Vick isn't suspended or at least temporarily removed? Blank and the NFL will stand to lose a good deal of money if Vick plays, which isn't going to fly. The NFL's a cash cow, and Goodell won't stand to see his league lose any revenue.
