I have a Question on baseball. How many players is there in hitting need a count. over 300 players that hits. I am running a homr Run league and need a cut on players to join.
only 5 palyers on a team. How many teams can I have like 30 or more. couple of year I had them pick any one ther wanted some had the same players so this year I have change to Groups one player to pick from each group.
right now I ahve a total of 18 players and 22 teams some took 2 teams . cost is $35.00 and if they drop a DL player they can pick up one player for a cost of $5.00 max to pick up is 5 players from the same group. They can not pick up the player they had the first time.
So My Question is: how many teams can do a offline draft. I will do all the work. is it 5 x 22 teams ?? how many players do hit. no pitchers
Well, if you're looking to use everyone in the league, there are 8 hitters per team x 30, which is 240. Add in the 14 DH guys, and that's 254. So, theoretically, the most teams you can have are 254/5 = 50. But that's if you want to use everyone. 22-30 is fine.
I agree with you Walter, I can use 45 teams becuase of the DL players they can drop there player. but can't pick them up only other teams can one time.
