The Big Bad..... Browns?

Before the season started everyone wondered "Who will be this year's Carolina". Some picked Detroit, Washington, New York Jets, Atlanta, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Houston, Oakland, or even Miami or NY Giants. But Cleveland, are you kidding me? Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis, and Primetime were expected to bury the Browns today and **** on their grave. But instead the Browns buried Baltimore, and took a brown on their grave. A huge upset that probably cost Walt alot of money. Now the Browns have an early lead in the AFC North, and they could be sneaking up on people the rest of the season. If they keepit up the Browns are poised to be this year's Carolina.

I hate betting in Week One and even though I was 10-4-1 (not including Monday Night) I lost my most important game.

A number of things may have happened in that game.

First of all Jonathan Ogden, one of the best OTs in the NFL, was out. Jamal Lewis usually runs behind him and he couldn't do that on Sunday.

I also think the Ravens weren't prepared for Cleveland. They saw them as a walk-over and they might have been looking ahead to arch-rival Pittsburgh.

The bottom line though, is that Kyle Boller stinks. He's terrible. Where is Trent Dilfer?

Where is Anthony Wright? Where is anybody? Kyle Boller has Tim Couch written all over him, I think. This is his second season you cant make the rookie excuse for him anymore.

Anthony Wright is hurt, which is why they signed Kordell Stewart. I'd actually go with Boller over Stewart.

They both suck, but I would take Stewart. He led Chicago to a 7-9 record last year, but I guess Grossman was in for some of the season, wasnt he?

Kordell was in and out of the lineup. Chicago clinched most of their victories with Chris Chandler at the helm, although Kordell helped defeat Oakland and Denver.

If he could upset Denver, I would take him over Boller. Boller hasnt won a single game yet, has he?

Boller was 5-3 as a starter last year. Among his victories:

33-13 over Cleveland

24-10 over San Diego

26-18 over Arizona

26-6 over Denver (without Plummer)

24-17 over Jacksonville

The Ravens were much better offensively with Anthony Wright at quarterback.

JL won the game for them against Cleveland. San Diego just plain sucks. So does Arizona. I dont think beating Denver when they dont have their leader is such a great accompolishment (I still think Plummer isnt a great QB, but he is a great leader.). And which Jacksonville teamdid he play 1-7, or 4-4.

I wasn't saying that Boller was responsible for those wins. He wasn't. My 82 year old grandfather could have been under center and the Ravens still would have won those games.

Baltimore just needs someone who can take care of the ball and not make mistakes. Kyle Boller can do that; he did it yesterday. Stewart on the other hand, can't. His whole career is a mistake.

He throws INTs, but I said that he didn't do it on Sunday against the Steelers.

However, Kordell would throw many more picks than Boller in a season.

You cant make that arguement, Kyle Boller hasnt played a whole season yet.

He has played in 11 games and after watching Kordell Stewart stink it up in Pittsburgh year after year (I get all Steelers games), I can safely say that no one makes more errors than Kordell. The only reason he is still in the league is his athleticism.

You didnt see him in Chicago much, I did because Dallas gets alot of FOX double-headers so we see alot more NFC than AFC. Kordell doesnt make mistakes like Boller does.

In Pittsburgh he did. He made too many. He doesn't belong in the NFL. Not that Kyle Boller does either. Both are terrible.

Well, Kyle Boller looked good today, so maybe he is ready now.

In the NFL, it's amazing how everyone's opinions change from week to week. After week one, the Browns were great and the Ravens stunk. Packers were invincible after beating the Panthers on Monday Night.

Kyler Boller looked better than Carson Palmer on Sunday. So it looks like the Ravens just got rid of their biggest threat in the Division.

They are actually tied with the Steelers at 2-1, but the Ravens have their number. Baltimore should be able to run away with the AFC North.

I totally agree. They will sweep the Steelers and there is no way Brian Billick will let the Browns beat him twice. He is a much better coach then Butch Davis, and he will prove when the Browns come to M&T Bank Stadium.
