I am a Cowboys fan and i've seen my share of mocks. Reading yours, i can honestly say you understand perfectly the needs of the team (CB,WR,ILB,NT).
Congrats on a well thought piece.

Considering Jerry Jones, absolutely loves to draft defense in round 1 I would not be too shocked to see them draft Kenny Phillips the safety out of Miami with the pick they will receive from Cleveland which will probably be in the top 10.

As much as I would love to see the Cowboys draft a franchise runningback like Steve Slayton or franchise quarterback like Andre Woodson, I see them spending another pick on defense and then going offense with their own first rounder.

I think the Cowboys will be picking later in round 1 and draft a lower tier WR, RB, or QB there.

I think it could use a little diferent approach. I honestly think that Jerry will do his best to get McFadden with our first pick if he doesn't have to sell the farm to do it. However, I think we have plenty of ILB in the chain to work with. Bradie James, Bobby Carpenter, Akin Ayodele, Kevin Burnett and John Saldi is in Europe. We also have 3 rookies and ya gotta figure at least one will land a spot somewhere. There is also Hoyte who seams to have found a double role as a fullback also. Nose tackle will be had in the third round next year if we don't do the free agent thing and take a screwin'. Corner back I can see maybe in the second and a reciever with one of the first round choices if not used on McFadden. I actually could see us ending up with Jackson, Manningham or Sweed. If JuJo doesn't have a breakout pro-bowl type year he will be gone and if McFadden is gone too early off the board Felix Jones will be the next in line after Slayton on JJ's wish list.

i like how you have the bucs taking a WR, a QB, and an UT. but if petitgout doesnt pan out at LT, then im sure theyll go baker or long. im not sure about their pick at QB. if we keep gruden we may have to constantly pick up veteran QBs so he can do well. lol. UT is a huge concern on defense as well as the aging kelly, barber, brooks, and rice. we need replacements for those guys soon.
overall i like your draft except maybe a different QB. buts thats just me.
