Come on.

Boston is cursed. They have no shot to win the World Series. The Phillies and Pirates have more of a chance to win the whole thing, and they're not even in the playoffs.

The Red Sox and Cubs shouldn't even be allowed in the postseason. Everyone knows what's going to happen. Choke. Curse. Whatever you want to call it. It's not pretty.

You gotta believe they wont ever win with that attitude and right now it looks like the Twins are gonna beat the Yankees, if that happens I know they will at least go to the World Series depending on who comes out of the NL is if they win.

I still think the Yanks beat the Twins. Last year, Minnesota also won the first game.

I truely believe that the only way you'll ever see the Cubs or Red Sox win is if you build a time machine and go back to 1908 and 1918, respectively.

I agree that the Cubs wont ever win again. But the Cubs reason for the curse is.... The Cubs! The Red Sox reason is the Yankees. I say if the Red Sox go farther than New York this year they will win it all. I know Minnesota took Game 1 last year but last year they werent as strong at home as they were this year.

Well if the Twins don't win game 4, they are history. If they do win game 4, Johan Santana will lead Minnesota to the ALCS.

I dont get this though, my fellow BoSox fans are rooting for the Yankees to win, if the Yankees are in the ALCS I really dont think Boston will win.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. The Red Sox are going to lose anyway, so why not lose to the Yankees again.

We would have beat Minnesota, but now look for another Game 7 heart-breaker.

Yankees in 6

And Cardinals in 5.

I believe the Yankees will win the World Series this year...if they don't, well....

Sox in 7
Cards in 7

World Series

Red Sox will slaughter the Cards in 5 and REVERSE THE CURSE!

C'mon, the Sox will never win in our lifetime, our kids' lifetimes, our grandkids' lifetimes, etc.

The only way they'll exorcise the curse is to contract the Sox and get a new expansion team.

Chicago will never win in our lifetime. The Red Sox are a 'George Steinbrenner' away from winning the world series. All we need is someone's pocket.

The Yankees are a weak team this year. And the Red Sox are a better team than St. Louis, so we should definetly win this year.

Well, surprise, surprise. The Yanks are up 2-0. Boston is done.

The Sox were down 2-0 last year against the A's, in a five game series and STILL WON. Dont ever count out Boston.

"Dont ever count out Boston"

Why, because they've won so many World Series since 1918? They have no shot.

They have more HEART than any other team. Name one year they were the best in baseball and still lost. They never have been. Our stupid owner doesnt have enough moolah.

They have heart? Please explain Pedro telling the media that the yankees are his daddy. There's no there, just admiting defeat.

Pedro doesnt have heart. But Curt Schilling, Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, and those guys have heart. Pedro is a real sourpuss, which is why his tenure in Boston is almost over. But those guys are great.

What do you do, just side with Walt on every issue?

Actually, not all time. Infact baseball is my strong point. And as you saw, a heartless Boston team was beat 19-8.

Man that was an ugly game. 4:20 mins to complete. That's horrid. Hopefully Boston comes back and wins one game...then New York can put them out of their misery on Monday.

Pedro needs to be traded. He is unproductive and he is the main reason why we will be swept today. If it werent for "Tip my hat to the Yankees, and call them my daddy", the Yankees fans wouldve had nothing to cheer about, the Yankees wouldnt have addreniline, and right now Boston would lead the series 2-1. Pedro is becoming a nouissance. Also for the losses blame our owner for trading Nomar. You can bet we would lead 3-0 if he was still in the lineup. Addreniline is what is good for a team at home. If the fans are rooting they get addreniline and play good. If Pedro would not have said this, the Yankees would have had no addreniline, and Boston would have at least won one at the Bronx, and definetly won in Fenway. But thanks, Pedro. The Empire lives on, and you can sleep at night knowing you let several million people down. Congrats. Its time for the Rewd Sox tro take out their dirty laundry, Pedro.

Props to Jason for calling the Red Sox's win last night. I believe this series is over though. Red Sox may have heart, but who cares? I have heart but if you put me on the mound, I'll give up 22 runs in an inning. The Sox may have heart, but they need to go to the Wizard of Oz for some courage. Or a time machine so they can cancel the Babe Ruth trade.

Let me quote my man, Wilbon. There have been 35 teams in baseball's history to go down 3-0 in a series, 15 have come back and won. Red Sox, as I said can never be counted out. Red Sox win in Fenway to make it 3-2. Red Sox get an upset in the Bronx, and square it 3 all. I will not dare predict Game 7, but I know that is where this series is headed. Hopefully the Yankees will melt down like my Lakers did.

I was totally wrong on that stat. It has only happened 15 times, and noone hascome back to even tie it, until now. Way to go Red Sox! Boy do you have HEART!

I always think you have to give credit where credit is due. Good call on the SOX, you deserve some DAP.

Thank you, Walt. I appreciate that.

I am retracting my statement that the Red Sox will win in 5. I forgot about the 2-3-2 format. It will be Red Sox in 6.

As I told my good friend Dan, a die-hard Red Sox fan:

Even if the Sox were up 3-0 in the World Series, ahead 200-0 in Game 4 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, I'd still have my reservations. He agreed.

Well, you can have your reservations, but the players believe that the curse is over. Plus, Walt it isnt like Buckner, or when Pedro was in too long. Something is helping the Red Sox out there. Not hurting them. This is the luckiest cursed team that I have ever seen. When the players put their hats on before game 4 they realized "We're not taking this **** anymore!" since then the curse is no more.

Hey Walter what were you saying about Boston having no chance in the post season?? Come on they were the best team this year and they kicked ass in the post season beating the corny Yankees and killing the Cardinals 4 games straight! Go Boston!!

Boy, did I have a PARTY! Last night, Whoo!!!!!!!! That was the best night of my sports-life. Even better than when the Cowboys won those 3 times, because we win all the time. I have been waiting my whole life for this. The curse is over now we are going to kick some Yankee ass. GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!! No cap, we can resign Pedro, Schillling, Lowe and EVERY BODY!!!!!!!! Plus I now do believe that the Yankees are cursed. Right on, Dude that wrote before me. THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe we did it. I sort of feel that I have nothing to watch baseball for now. We did what we have been waiting for for so long. Last night, I screamed the loudest I have ever screamed. Partying with my buds in Boston.
