I say that Ben Roethlinsberger's streak ends this weekend as he faces the great Jacksonville Defense. He kicked around a beat up New England Defense, but besides that he has not played a great defense yet. Oh Yeah he did. His first day (non-start) he played the Ravens for the entire second half, and lost big. I say Jacksonville stuns the Steelers this week.

Don't forget about the Skins. They have a great defense and kept the game close. I think Pittsburgh wins at Alltel Sunday night, but it will be close. I can see the Jags winning however. It'll be a good game.

Washington's Defense is very overrated. What are the good defenses in the NFC?

Washington- Okay
Dallas- Bad
NY Giants- Bad
Philly- Okay
Minnesota- Bad
Green Bay- Okay
Chicago- Okay
Detroit- Bad
Carolina- Okay
Tampa Bay- Overrated
New Orleans- Bad
Atlanta- Okay
St. Louis- Bad
Seattle- Bad
Arizona- Bad
San Fransisco- Theyre bad at everything

They have alot of competition in the NFC!

The Cowboys scored at will against Washington, I know that we couldnt do that against Jacksonville. And they are different types of Defenses. Jacksonville suits Pittsburgh's Offense better. Jacksonville beat Peyton Manning, and suffocated Edgerrin James. If they can stop those two, I believe that they can stop Big Ben, and the Bus, and the Duce. It will be a struggle but I think something like 9-6 Jacksonville.

I think Atlanta's defense is pretty good. When they allowed 56 to Kansas City, they didn't have Rod Coleman in the lineup. It's hard to imagine that one player can make such a huge difference, but he is one of the best defensive tackles and run stuffers in the NFL. He is also approaching 10 sacks. With Coleman in the lineup, the Falcons have a really good defense.

Carolina's defense started the year poorly, but they have been playing better lately.

That would make the Redskins' defense 3rd in the NFC. It's all relative. There are no shutdown defenses in the NFC, but Washington did restrict Pittsburgh to 16 points.

Yes, but the Steelers were clearly looking past Washington. They play a game against the team that many people including me believe will beat them. I wouldnt be surprised if when Bill Cowher called timeouts last week he just wanted to see what his players thought of the gameplan next week. The Pats, Steelers, and Eagles all say that they never look over teams but you know they do. How do the Pats explain almost losing to the Texans. How do the Steelers explain last week, how do the Eagles explain letting us stay in the game. Every coach looks over teams.

Even though it was a losing record I think last night exposed Pittsburgh's inability to put up big numbers against good defenses. I think Baltimore will still beat them if Jamal Lewis can have a good game. I think if Baltimore scores 21 points it will be enough.

You're starting to talk like me. "They were looking ahead." You're totally right, they were looking past the Redskins.

I no longer consider Baltimore's defense good. How do you allow 24 fourth-quarter points to a rookie quarterback? That was the most embarrassing thing all week.

Every Defense has a bad day. Last year when we actually had a good defense we allowed 40 points to Miami, if you went by that game, noone would think we had a good defense. But I dont think one bad day can make up for 11 good days.
