Wow, I can't believe it was a blowout. I didn't watch it because I swore not to, but I would have like to have seen how this rout happened. I also wanted to see Ashlee Simpson get booed off stage. She's a terrible singer. She should have faked again.

It would have been funny if she did that.

Heres how it happened basicly.

Starting out OU tried to keep the ball out of Reggie Bush's hands on the Opening kickoff and kicked it out of bound. Then Bush broke a 20 yard run, and OU began to sweat but then USC punted and OU marched down for a Touchdown. USC answered back. Then after an OU punt, USC had to punt again and it was rolling around near the 10 yard line, a Trojan acted like he was about to touch it to fake out the Sooner, the Sooner fell for it, touched it and made it a fumble giving USC the ball at the 10 another TD, 14-7 USC. Then USC scored 21 more unanswered points. 35-7, OU got a Field Goal, USC answered back with a Field Goal 38-10 at Halftime. After halftime USC scored another TD and a Field Goal and were affectively stopping Adrian Peterson, and taking advantage of the OU defense. 45-10. Another Field Goal made it 48-10. USC once again scored a Touchdown to make it 55-10 and assure a blowout. Then after a good OU punt there was a safety and a Touchdown that made it 55-19 final.

How did Matt Leinart look, in your opinion? I can tell he had a good game by all the accolades he is receiving on Around the Horn, PTI and my local sportstalk radio station. I really hope he doesn't go to the 49ers because that is a dead organization.

He looked like he was really cool and ready to play like Tom Brady always is in a big game, and he had Dan Marino's natural God-given talent.

Well, in that case, if he leaves college, he will definitely be going to the 49ers. He should stay at USC unless Pete Carroll or Norm Chow take the head coaching job in San Francisco. However, the 49ers are so bad that they might have the number one pick in the 2006 draft as well.

I wouldnt want to go to the 49ers. I would make a Manning/Elway-esk refusal to go to the Niners. If he goes there his career will be ruined like Vinny's was.

Well, I think there's a huge difference in the talent level of Matt Leinart and Vinny Testaverde, although we don't really know yet because Leinart hasn't played in the NFL. I agree with you. He should refuse to go to the 49ers. That organization is a joke. Leinart said he'll announce his decision Thursday.

Youre thinking of the old and feeble Testaverde we know now in Dallas. When he was at the University of Miami he was outstanding. But going to Tampa Bay ruined his career. I think he was every bit as talented as Leinart is, maybe even John Elway was, but Tampa Bay destroyed him.

Could be. We will never know. How about Leinart's decision to stay at USC? I thought he should go pro because if he gets hurt, he will lose out on a lot of money, but he told ESPN that money wasn't a concern for him. In that case, I think he made the right choice.

I agree that he made the right choice. Merril Hodge said it best on ESPNEWS when he said "You cant play football being afraid of being injured, if you are afraid of being injured you are in the wrong sport." I think Leinart made a good decision.
