I am sick and ****ing tired of the Cowboys getting the hall of fame snub every ****ing year. Bob Hayes, Rayfield Wright, Cliff Harris, Charlie Waters, now Michael Irvin, and Im sure I have forgotten several. We need some more representation for the Cowboys, because we get the snub every ****ing year. Michael was the second best at his position in NFL History, and he wont be a first ballot Hall of Famer, truly sad.
I really don't understand why Michael Irvin did not get voted in. I am friends with one of the Hall of Fame voters, and he once told me that before voting, he always asks himself if NFL History can be written without this player. If it cannot be written, he votes him in. If it can be written, he thinks about it. I don't think NFL history can be written without Irvin. He was part of the Big Three in Big D that won three Super Bowls.
Please do, it makes me sick that people of his and Bobby Hayes's caliber arent in just because they did drugs. It is against the rules, but same as Pete Rose, even though they broke the rules, they were too good to not be in the Hall of Fame, in my oppinion.
I was finally able to get in contact with that HOF voter I was talking about. He told me he voted for Irvin, but since they don't disclose who voted yes or no, he doesn't know who voted against him and why. I could tell by his tone that he was angry Irvin didn't get in.
