Like I have been saying in my predictions, Seattle is still a threat in the NFC and in the NFL. If you didnt know, Seattle was filled with injuries every where on D last year, and parts off there offense. Hasselbeck was injured and was in the pressure of a contract year, Wistrom was injured, who is still one of the best DE's in the leauge, Simmons was injured, who was one of there best LB'S(but hes always injured anyways), and also one of there big CB's Bobby Taylor was injured and never really played. There LB's were a mess, because they were all injured, because of there playmaker was out in Chad Brown, and if you look, there off season didnt really matter last year because of the 2 people they brought in (Wistrom and Taylor) were both injured for long periods of time. Many people didnt know they had these many injuries, and just thought they were the same old crappy team in the past.
Now to this years off season, many thought it was a big hit to there D, but when you look at it, it wasent. When they lost Lucas, they brong in two good experienced CB's in Dyson and Herndon for about half the price. Dyson is about = to Lucas so i see this as gaining one more good CB in the deal. For there pash rush, they gained some good players in 04 and this year to put pressure on the quarter back. This is exactly why they lost to the Rams 3 times last year. They lost Chike Okefor, but recived someone just as good who could stop the run and pressure the QB in Bryce Fisher. In my opinion, they are about equal, or Fisher is better. They also will be able to start there #1 pick from last year Marcus Tubbs, because he sat all last year for his rookie year and some mild injuries. He can plug the whole at DT, that they needed from 04. I do not even have to get started about there Seacontary because Boulware and Hamlin are 2 great young safties in the NFL, along with there #1 draft pick from 03 in Marcus Trufant at CB. They will have great a seacontary this year. The only problem I see in there D is LB, which they adressed with Jamie Sharper, which i dont have to say how good he is because I think you all know. There MLB's have great expectations because of there #2 pick this year was on Lufa Tatupu, which was said to be an underated LB in the draft. He will compete with Niko Koudivides, who had a great rookie season last year. They do need another OLB spot, which would go to probably D.D Lewis, who has a lot of upside, but they do need someone else. But hey, the off season is not over.
Hasselbeck was facing injuries all last year, and could not match his great 03 season. He got what he was looking for in a big contract extension, which I think he will be more confortable this year in the pocket, trying not to force balls. Alexander is great, and if he returns this year(which i heard he is now doing), he will be behind one of the best O-Lines, now with the new addition of Chris Spencer, who was high on teams list this year in the draft. He could have 1800 yards, but thats much of a stretch. There TE, Jermey Stevens has said to be pissed off at his 2nd TE place, and said he will give it his all this year. But Seattles offense has not been effective because off all the droped balls. They adessed this with adding 2 veterans in Joe Jurivicius, and Jerome Pathon who are red zone threats if they use them right. I could see Seattle having a great offensive season, but they need to adress the dropped passes situation. They adresses the road losses in 04, maybe they could adress this in 05.
There new president Tim Ruskell wants a new "team" additude, which people felt they didnt have last year. They signed people that "just play football" said Tim, which is what the Patriots do and look at them. Its a good thing they hired Ruskell, because there old president owned the Portland Trailblazers, look what happened there. I feel this new team attitude will hold on to leads that they didnt hold on to last year. AKA Rams and Cowboys, AKA Ravens in 03.
So this is why I feel good about my team this year. Las tyear was dissapointing because of the reasons above, but i feal it was adressed this off season and could result in the seahawks reporting back to there 2004 hype. I see 10-6 or 11-5 this year, though many ffel thay will be third or fourth in the NFC WEST this year.
Look, your team got beat by the Rams thrice. Can't lose to division rival 3 times much less a season. Even the Vikings would be good enough to beat the Pack at least once. The Seahawks lost to the Cowboys at Seattle because they couldn't contain Julius Jones A RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE. Julius Jones of all RBs.
if you read the message, you would see how they adressed these needs in the off seaon.
Like all the fans in the NFL, you assume everyhting the way you want it to happen, and since the hawks have been bad since the 80's, and are coming off a dissappointing season, you think they will be horrible this year. How do you think they will do everyone? who ever actually reads the message, I want to hear your opinion on the seahawks, and if you do reply, dont say something stupid that I already talked about in the first message.
Well in the AFC Conference Championship The Pats Shut Down A RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEE QB. RRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEENNNNGGGGEEEEE at it's Finest.
I have lots to say.
In 1998 A RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE WR was already one of the best in the NFL.
A RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WR who had a breakout season in 2003.
A RRROOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKIIEEEE TE Dominated in 2002.
if Last year's Seahawks Faced the 2002 San Francisco 49ers
TO would have 5 TDs Garcia gets 6 Passing and 1 Rushing TDs Julian Peterson sacks poor Hasselback 6 times ad also pick off the pass and retrn it 49 yards for a TD

You are pathetic"
TO takes out a sharpie and writes "We are the best" Then TO takes a pom-pom ans shakes it

When you mock someone for there name, your a retard that doesent know football
Bryce fisher had as many sacks as Chike Okefor last year, yeah, the same guy being called a GREAT pickup by the cardinals this year because everyone is jumping on there band waggon
Jerome Pathon used to play for the saints who were really good at the wide out position
Whats wrong with Joe? Why do you say no comment? He played for a great 02 Bucs team.
im just sick off everyone saying how bad they are when they really arent. You dont know how hard it is to be a seatttle fan. Ive gone threw so much pain in my life and i cant take it anymore.
By the way my Favorite team is the Jets but barely. Thats because I live i think 6 miles fom Giants stadium.
Sadly I hadn't been in a football game.
and when you said No goal 4 Superbowls and the Music city miracle
4 superbowls should be a small dynasty.
What do you mean by no goal
Music city miracle? thats when the titans (that's the first season they used that name) beat the bills in a kickoff return.
My Favorite teams are the Jets, Chargers, Steelers, Panthers, Redskins, Eagles, Cowboys (only because of Roy Williams (the FS), and Dat Nguyen. otherwise I hate 'em. the only reason put them #1 seed in the prediction because they have lots of experience and talent.), Lions, Chiefs, Bucs, Raiders, and Seahawks (I take back everything about joking the seahawks).
