Freddie Mitchell is one of the worst WRs in the NFL. No wonder the Eagles released him.
Rodney Harrison had more catches in the Super Bowl(2) than Freddie (1).

He may call himself "The People's Champ" but he is "The People's Chump or Chimp."

Todd Pinkston stinks but he isn't as bad as Freddie Mitchell who is so bad, when he goes
to UCLA, he would get booed.

I couldn't agree more. Not only is Freddie Mitchell a first-round bust, he calls out his quarterback and directly disobeyed Andy Reid's orders not to antagonize the Patriots the week prior to the Super Bowl.

He wouldn't be the best reciever in NFL Europe, much less the NFL. So did TO call out Donovan McNabb.

Why call out Donovan? He lead the Eagles to Super Bowl XXXIX where they played the Patriots but lost.

They would've won if not deep in their own territory. Even the Bears wouldn't want him.

If he went back to UCLA, I bet he would drop some passes.

I think Owens is calling out McNabb for the same reason why he is holding out. It's not about money for T.O. Otherwise, he wouldn't be holding out. T.O. is all about T.O. He wants to be the highest-paid player in the NFL because he wants to be known as the greatest player in the NFL. Remember, after the Eagles lost the Super Bowl, he wasn't upset; he was yelling at reporters for doubting him, and talking about how great his comeback was. The media foolishly ate it up and didn't notice that he didn't appear to be upset that his team just lost the Super Bowl. He called out McNabb because he wants the Eagles to be his team. He also wants attention.

I'm hearing Washington and Denver are interested in Freddie Mitchell. What a shock. The two worst GMs in the NFL--Daniel Snyder and Mike Shanahan--want the worst WR available in free agency.

I'd rather have a flying pig who won the lottery than Freddie Mitchell

Would you rather have a Good WR with a bad attitude or abad WR with a good attitude?

I don't really want a bad receiver, but i think a player with a bad attitude is worse. Just look at the Patriots. They have no bad characters on that team, and they have won thrice in four years. The Eagles will pay for signing Owens.

By the way, I think the WR position is very overrated. Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Terrell Owens, Cris Carter, Tim Brown. No Super Bowl rings.

Well, Peyton Manning's Gatorade commercial might be his Super Bowl, but as much I love him, Tom Brady is better. 3 SB rings are a greater achievement then 49 TDs.
And another thing, he always beats Manning. Peyton throw picks after picks against the superior Patriots defense.
Even getting 1 zillion touchdowns wouldn't matter if the Patriots beats him again.

I totally agree with you. The argument has been made that Manning doesn't have a great defense behind him. To that, I say Manning's contract prevents the Colts from signing the defensive players they need.

The Colts Could've got Peter Boulware, Kendrell Bell, another corner to join Marlin Jackson, Josh Bullocks, Dan Cody, Shaun Cody, or Sione Pouha. But thanks to that fat contract, they couldn't draft them.

The Pats will have to face their former divisional rival, the Colts.

Tom Brady should've been MVP because if the Patriots didn't have him, they would've been 7-9 and miss the playoffs. Canidates for the MVP are Mike Vick, Brett Favre, Donovan McNabb, Peyton Manning, Chad Pennington, Corey Dillon, or Ladainian Tomlinson.

You could have made a strong case for Brady to be the MVP of the 2004 season. I gave it to Michael Vick, because they were awful without him in 2003. He's the most important player to his team in the NFL. But, you could make a case for Brady.
