If Arizona State beats USC when Matt Leinart is healthy, they'll be the best team in the PAC-10. Doubt it but, it could happen because they play at ASU.
Despite losing Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Arrington who put up heisman numbers last season,Cal will still finish second in the Pacific-10. But USC is in a class of it's own in the otherwise overrated PAC-10 conference.
Could Arizona State keep the USC Trojans from cremating them at ASU?
Could ASU go to a BCS bowl?
If Arizona gets to bowl, would it be an accomplishment?
The reason why Boise State blows out Cal is because they are more talented. And they lost Aaron Rodgers and JJ Arrington to the NFL.
Stanford is just as bad as the 2005 New York Yankees.
Oregon is the dissapointment of the PAC-10. And Arizona and Wazoo are the surprises. I think Arizona is a good team, but they ae nowhere nea the talent of their Basketball team. Especially when their basketball team has Salim Stoudamire, Hussan Adams and Mustafa Shakur.
Oskie Wow, Oskie Wow. Can UCLA finally get monkey off back and finally beat cross-town, in-state, and conference rival USC, or will the Trojans roll over the Bruins and Trojan fans hold 3 fingers for 3 NCs in a row? We'll see.
Here's my prediction of UCLA's season
at SDSU W 59-13
vs Rice W 66-3
vs OU W 30-17 (Oklahoma is still shaken from the beating in Miami at the hands of USC)
vs Washington W 77-35
vs Cal L 77-17
at Wazoo W 41-7
vs Oregon State W 22-19 OT
at Stanford L 30-17 (the biggest shocker of the PAC-10 season)
at Arizona W 45-42 OT
vs ASU L 45-44
at USC L 70-0
Holiday Bowl
vs Penn State L 55-25 (Other than ASU, Cal, and unanimously, USC, UCLA haven't played a good team and that will be their undoing.)
I'm not even gonna bother doing USC's season because, they are invincible and why do I need a breakdown? They have no weakness at all. And oh by the way, they beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl 67-10.
How are my predictions going so far? Is Washington State gonna be that good? Can UCLA beat Oklahoma, who are still shaken for their National Television humiliation?
Correction
ASU beas Washington State 21-14 OT
Can Washington beat Notre Dame this season? I have Stanford shocking UCLA the upset of the PAC-10 season. Do the Sun Devils stand a chance against USC at home? Who is the best PAC-10 team in history? What are the greatest years for Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cal, Washington and Washington State? And to rap it up, who is the best team in Pacific-10 history?
I don't think the revenge factor plays a role in the Washington-Notre Dame game. Ty Willingham is the only one with a grudge vs. Notre Dame. Not the players. I think the Irish win in Seattle easily.
The Sun Devils stand a chance to keep the game close. Not to win, unless Leinart goes down.
The best Pac 10 team of all time could be one of these USC teams or the 1991 Washington squad.
I don't think Oregon beats Montana 99-0. Montana is one of the best teams in 1-AA. It'll be close.
I would say it's a toss-up between Tennessee and Florida as the best team in the SEC. Maybe a slight edge to Florida. The worst? I'd have to say Kentucky.
No, I don't think USC would win a game. I mentioned this in the other thread: some of the USC players wouldn't make the NFL. That gives that team a huge disadvantage, even against San Francisco.
2004 USC is better.
2004 New England Patriots. If they wanted to run up the score, 96-0.
Well, yeah, if Penn State can somehow solve their QB problems, win at Michigan, win the Big 10 and give USC a good game in the Rose Bowl, they would definitely be the No. 2 team in the nation.
