I saw him make a few mistakes last year. However, Champ Bailey  made a lot more. Bailey actually had a pretty bad season. Fred Smoot was better.

You would take Mike Vanderjagt over Adam Vinatieri? If you had one kick to win the game, who do you want kicking the football? Keep in mind that Vanderjagt missed a field goal to tie the game against the Patriots in week 1. Vinatieri will go down as the greatest kicker of all time.

Looking at their stats besides this year, Vanderjagt has been more solid kicking the ball. I'll admit, Vineterri(sp) is the best clutch kicker, and I have a lot of respect for him, but if i'm looking for someone that I can always rely on through the season(like I said, Besides last year which I though was a off season for him), I would pick Vanderjagt. You can even say Akers is a good pick, he didnt miss one out of 40 yards last year.

If you saw I picked Moorman for punter, i would hope you realize he's the most underated punters in the NFL. He plays in bad Buffalo weather and he still leads in stats. He never goes to the Pro Bowl though, and he is one of Buffalo's best players.

I agree with Moorman.

Not with Vanderjagt. How can you not include this year? Vanderjagt was terrible this season by his standards.

The kicks Vinateri misses are ones in 24-3 games that don't mean anything. If you had one kick -- regular season or playoffs -- and the game was on the line, who do you want kicking it? Vinateri has made some clutch field goals in the snow during the regular season. Look at Week 17, MIA @ NE in 2002, or Week 14, MIA @ NE in 2003.

Sure, Vinateri has made some clutch field goals, but i think is you wanted more points in a game, you go with vanderjagt. Vinateri is a better in the clutch, and Vanderjagt is more of a kicker you rely on to keep you in the game. Vanderjagt has never had the chance to make a clutch kick. He has been able to, and has made both of them, but if you put Vanderjagt in both of those super bowls, i guarentee he makes them. They are both very great, but I still have a lot of faith in Mike.

That's not true. Vanderjagt missed a clutch kick against the Patriots in Week 1. With no time remaining, and the Colts down three, Vanderjagt attempted about a 48-yarder and missed it. I guarentee Vinatieri would have made it.

we'll see this year how they do. Remember, Vanderjagt plays at least half his games in a dome....

That's another reason why Vinatieri is the better kicker. He kicks outdoors, meaning his kicking percentage would be even higher if he kicked in the RCA Dome for eight contests.

From a fantasy perspective, you're right. I'd take Vanderjagt in fantasy football over Vinatieri. But, I'm not talking about fantasy football. If you're a coach and you get to choose one kicker to be on your team, who do you want?
