The Bubble refers to the term applied to teams that are on the cusp of making the NCAA Tournament. For example, Syracuse is on the bubble because no one is sure whether or not it will get an at-large bid. The Bubble is basically the teams we talk about when we ask, "will they make the tournament, or will the be in the NIT?"
I've listed all the teams on the Bubble in ANALYSIS under College Hoops.
No problem. A team like Seton Hall made have played themselves out of the bubble by losing to DePaul on Saturday. You can't lose to DePaul in a must-win situation and expect to get in. I think Seton Hall needs to win the Big East tournament (or advance really far) to get in.
They beat West Virgiia and NC State and lose to DePaul! Go figure!
That's like beating the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots, and losing to the Jets in the same year. Eh, upsets happen, but for SH, it was absolutely no excuse.
