Walt, what are you thinking. You think that the toughest division is............ THE AFC EAST! They have 1 good team(NE) 2 mediocre teams (MIA & NYJ) AND 1 BAD TEAM (BUF). I dont see how any one that uses any logic would think that any team besides the NFC East is the hardest. Parcells and the #1 Defense (yes Big D owns the best defense not Baltimore!) Gibbs and Clinton Portis, Coughlin and Eli, and McNabb and Terrell Owens. If they were not in the same division all 4 of these teams would make the playoffs. But since they are in the same one, one has to be left out(Giants).

I think both the Dolphins and Jets are above mediocre. Miami was 10-6 and the Jets made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs when Pennington was healthy. I also wouldn't say Buffalo is a bad team. They're the ones that are mediocre.

While Dallas, Washington and Philly are all good teams, I can't say that the NFC East is the toughest division, because the Giants, in my opinion, are a joke. They have no offensive line, a burn-out at QB, a RB who fumbles 10 times a season and an average defense.

Walt, they're basically the same team that went to the Playoffs 2 years ago, only a better coach and TWO better QBs than the one that led them to the Playoffs. But you are right about their Offensive line, Eli might get killed even more in NY than he would in San Diego. While I think that the Giants will finish with a 9-7 record if they give up again this year (if they would not have given up they would have made the Playoffs) than it's over and Eli will go down as the worst of the Mannings, but if the Giants return to 2002, or 2000 form than he will go down as the best of the Mannings. Hey, like you did the top story Tampa Autopsy you should do a Giants Autopsy.
