Im not much of a fantasy football person either, but I think Julius Jones is going to surprise a lot of people this year. I heard that he was injured last year for most of the season and the Carolina game was the first game that he was healthy. If he runs against everyone this season like he did against Carolina last season then the NFL should look out.
Plus, the offensive line will be much better with the additions of Jason Fabini and Kyle Kosier, and the return of Flozell Adams, who only played six games in 2005.
Don't forget that offensive line will give Drew Bledsoe alot more time to throw as well. I don't think that he is going to melt down the same way you do.
Im more looking forward to Training Camp than I am to the Pre Season Games. Pre Season Games make me nervous, they mean nothing and there is a possibility for an injury that could end your possibility of being competitive. I really wish that the NFL would just scrap the preseason and make it a 20 game regular season schedule.
Preseason games are meaningless to everyone -- except backups trying to make the team and bettors who gamble on them. I have a few preseason Week 1 picks up.
The NFL should keep their current format for 16 games but add 4 more games that the teams decide amongst themselves with 2 being against your own conference and 2 being against the other conference. That way the Cowboys could play the rival Steelers and Raiders every year in the AFC and they could play the 49ers and Packers every year in the NFC. Also, you could set up a game between last years Super Bowl teams every year.
I like that rivlary idea. Tampa Bay and Green Bay could continue playing each other. So could Tennessee and Baltimore; New England and Indy; Philadelphia and Tampa Bay; St. Louis and New Orleans; etc.
