NFL Playoff Predictions

Okay, here are my final playoff predictions. 15-1 is kind of a stretch for the Cowboys, so I dropped us down to 12-4. We will probably lose once to the Giants and Redskins and we will beat upset somewhere down the road plus the Colts loss so we go 12-4.

NFC
1. Seahawks 13-3
2. Bears 12-4
3. Cowboys 12-4
4. Panthers 10-6
5. Eagles 11-5
6. Redskins 10-6

AFC
1. Dolphins 12-4
2. Bengals 12-4
3. Colts 12-4
4. Broncos 11-5
5. Patriots 11-5
6. Steelers 11-5

Wildcard Round

Steelers 37, Colts 17
Patriots 34, Broncos 31
Cowboys 27, Redskins 13
Eagles 35, Panthers 27

Divisional Playoffs

Steelers 27, Dolphins 24
Bengals 31, Patriots 13
Seahawks 35, Eagles 24
Cowboys 24, Bears 20

Conference Championships

Bengals 27, Steelers 13
Cowboys 27, Seahawks 24

Super Bowl XLI

Cowboys 31, Bengals 27

I still think Drew Bledsoe will choke in the playoffs, but I think we've had that discussion about a million times this offseason.

I can't believe the season starts in two days. We can finally stop speculating, and start reviewing what actually happened.

What do you think of Pittsburgh's chances against Miami without Ben Roethlisberger? I'll post my predictions for every game tommorrow but right now Im thinking I might go with the upset.

It won't be an upset because Miami is favored by 1½.

I like the Steelers. Check out PREDICTIONS on my Web site to see why. I think the Steelers defense steps up.

The Dolphins are favored against the defending champions at home? That really surprises me. Even if Pittsburgh doesn't have Roethlisberger I would still think that most people would pick the Steelers (except me).

What did you think about the game? Charlie Batch looked good, but if he starts @JAX next week (especially if Dallas beats Jacksonville), I'm betting heavily on the Jaguars. I don't have faith in him on the road.

Not surprised at all that Daunte Culpepper threw 2 INTs late in the fourth Q. On that note, check out the new Endless Banter.

Jags have made a believer out of me. I think they will beat a Pittsburgh squad next week that didn't look very good against Miami.

Culpepper looked awful. Miami shouldn't have let go of AJ Feeley, who beat New England back when they were the champions, and Sage Rosenfels, who led a 21 point comeback against Buffalo last year.

Depends who's starting at QB. If it's Charlie Batch, the Steelers have no shot. If it's Ben Roethlisberger, I think the Steelers will try to attain revenge for last year's overtime loss.

If its Charlie Batch, I agree with your assessment, if its Ben Roethlisberger, Big Ben will show some rust in his first game.

You could be right. It's a close call. Definitely not one of my favorite picks of the week (Denver, New England, Baltimore)

Should make for an exciting Monday Night game.

Roethlisberger has been upgraded to probable.

I like the Steelers now.

I still like the Jags. Big Ben will be rusty.
