I disagree with upsets Nos. 2 and 3. Why do you think South Carolina will beat Georgia? And I just wasn't impressed by Fresno State last week. Oregon seems like the much better squad.

South Carolina suffered last week from the same thing as Notre Dame, opening day jitters. Neither team looked as good last week as most people thought they would look, so everybody starts downing them only for them both to show us how good they really are this week.

You probably come from a different standpoint than me because you picked Fresno to win the game. I thought that a Nevada team that went 7-1 in WAC play last year would beat them. The Oregon/Fresno game should be tight but keep in mind that the team Oregon embarrassed last week was Stanford and that they have to play this game at Fresno State.

I just really like Oregon this year. Before I saw USC light it up against Arkansas, I thought the Ducks had a great shot at winning the PAC-10. I still think they're the only team that can actually unseat USC. They won't, but I like Oregon a lot.

That Oregon-Fresno game was really exciting. If the Bulldogs continue to play such exciting games against the PAC 10 then the conference should let them in.

I completely agree. Fresno State and Boise State should be able to join the PAC-10.

........ and Baylor should be kicked out of the Big 12 in favor of TCU. The Horned Frogs were robbed when the Big 8 took in the Bears instead.

Baylor's terrible in every sport. No one takes them seriously.

Baylor is the Big 12 South's only real weak link. Imagine how good that division would be if TCU was there instead of the Bears.

That would be amazing. Now if only we could do something about the Big XII North...

Now that Nebraska is finally a powerhouse again they should be able to win that division about every year now.

They'll win the division, but I wouldn't call them a powerhouse. Do you really trust Bill Callahan?

I do. There are many coaches that are terrible in the NFL and great in the NCAA. Steve Spurrier or Butch Davis for example.

But I don't think Bill Callahan has proved anything yet. I still have to see more from Nebraska.

We should get a pretty good idea tonight when Nebraska travels to the Coliseum to take on the Trojans.

Nebraska is not back -- just feeding off a very horrible conference.

Sure looked like that against USC. With Notre Dame's demise, the Trojans may be playing for the National Championship for the 4th straight year. That would be amazing.

Auburn has to lose for that to happen. I think they're better than USC, but the SEC is too tough for them to go unscaithed.

Don't count out Oregon or Cal in the PAC-10 race just yet.

I really dont think that Oregon or Cal stands much of a chance in the PAC 10. USC is the monster of that conference. Cal was destroyed by Tennessee in the opening game and Oregon should have beaten Oklahoma by much more than they did. USC is a much better team.

Don't get me wrong; I think USC will win the PAC-10. I just wouldn't dismiss Oregon or Cal. They don't have much of a chance, but they still have one.

They have a chance, but I dont think either will capitalize. Oregon will be blown out by the Trojans when they play and Cal will lose a close game.

USC @ Cal could be a very interesting game.

What do you think about USC @ Arizona? Everyone is saying that this might be a trap game for the Trojans.

I cant see Arizona beating SC. They haven't even made a bowl game in recent years under Stoops.

I know that, but do you think that game will be close at all?

Arizona played USC pretty tight for most of the game last year, I think there will be a similar result this year but the Wildcats dont have any chance of actually winning.

Arizona had a chance for about three quarters. USC predictably pulled away though.

USC seems to be the same old USC. They can show up for only a quarter of a game or a half of a game and still win.
