I disagree with upsets Nos. 2 and 3. Why do you think South Carolina will beat Georgia? And I just wasn't impressed by Fresno State last week. Oregon seems like the much better squad.
South Carolina suffered last week from the same thing as Notre Dame, opening day jitters. Neither team looked as good last week as most people thought they would look, so everybody starts downing them only for them both to show us how good they really are this week.
You probably come from a different standpoint than me because you picked Fresno to win the game. I thought that a Nevada team that went 7-1 in WAC play last year would beat them. The Oregon/Fresno game should be tight but keep in mind that the team Oregon embarrassed last week was Stanford and that they have to play this game at Fresno State.
I just really like Oregon this year. Before I saw USC light it up against Arkansas, I thought the Ducks had a great shot at winning the PAC-10. I still think they're the only team that can actually unseat USC. They won't, but I like Oregon a lot.
That Oregon-Fresno game was really exciting. If the Bulldogs continue to play such exciting games against the PAC 10 then the conference should let them in.
Sure looked like that against USC. With Notre Dame's demise, the Trojans may be playing for the National Championship for the 4th straight year. That would be amazing.
I really dont think that Oregon or Cal stands much of a chance in the PAC 10. USC is the monster of that conference. Cal was destroyed by Tennessee in the opening game and Oregon should have beaten Oklahoma by much more than they did. USC is a much better team.
Arizona played USC pretty tight for most of the game last year, I think there will be a similar result this year but the Wildcats dont have any chance of actually winning.
