I agree that I'm biased, but after watching Notre Dame play last week, I'm concerned about its defense and offensive line. There is no way the Fighting Irish "whip" Penn State. It'll be a close shootout.
We'll have to see. I still say it's close. Should be a really interesting game. I'll be writing about it for the paper, so hopefully I'll have something fun to write about.
Thats okay Walt, everybody does it. My pick for us to blowout Jacksonville was dead wrong too, although it could have happened if Bill Parcells would have been more agressive or if Drew Bledsoe wouldn't have turned into Vinny Testaverde over the offseason.
Bill Parcells killed any chances of the Cowboys winning that game. Why didn't he go deep more often to Terry Glenn and Terrell Owens? He got so conservative after that 10-0 lead.
Like I said, he did this last year too and it seemed like I was the only person on earth that noticed it. I'm begginning to think he's past his prime. Playcall wise anyway. I know he's not past his prime draft wise.
I was listening to a guy on Philadelphia's sports-talk radio station, and he seems to think that Bill Parcells is "mailing it in." He said that ever since Quincy Carter's suspension, Parcells looks like he doesn't want to be there. I could actually see that.
No it isn't that. He's drafted too well for it to be that. I really don't think that's it. I think he's just afraid to take risks anymore for some reason.
