How about USC going down? I thought it was going to be to Oregon or Cal, but to Oregon State?

Actually, I'm not that shocked. Remember two years ago, when Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush were almost defeated at Corvalis in that fog game? If USC could barely beat Oregon State with that squad, there was no way they were winning with John David Booty.

HOW IS NOTRE DAME STILL BEHIND USC IN THE POLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've both lost one game and ours was against the #2 team in the nation and theirs was against unranked Oregon State. It really is becoming hard to be a fan of College Football with the way its going right now.

I do hate the polls, but honestly, who has Notre Dame beaten? Penn State's QB was making his first start on the road. Michigan State stinks. Purdue stinks. Navy is garbage. Georgia Tech is OK.

I think USC gets points because it beat Arkansas and Nebraska.

Georgia Tech is better than OK and Notre Dame was ranked ahead of USC before the season started. They have done nothing to move below them.

Notre Dame just hasn't looked good. They needed a huge comeback to beat Michigan State. They needed a late touchdown to beat UCLA.

Neither has USC. Since that Arkansas game to open the season they have looked every bit as bad as Notre Dame has.

Well, they almost beat Texas, while Oklahoma State is a very underrated team.

I think Mizzou beats them though.
