I just wanted to thank Walter, and who ever else is involved in this site, you saved me in my survival pool lol. But besides that, I think this is a great site, I check everyday. I read a lot of what you guys wrote, and you make a good point about games being fixed. My dad also always says vegas never gets killed when the spread comes out, and bookies have said some games are fixed, so your conspiracy is not too far off. I am a 49er fan, even though they suck, I still will be a fan no matter what. You picked SF, you honestly think they have a chance? We are at home, wearing the throwbacks, but our defense is horrible, and Brad Johnson may be old, but with our lack of pass rush, anybody could pick apart that secondary. Vegas is smart, for example, when KC played the niners, they came out as 7 point favorites. I didn't expect the niners to win, but KC couldn't score, Damon Huard was only in his second game and everybody bet the niners, at least most of the people I know. But my dad explained to me that you have to go buy the spread, predicted a KC blow out, because people would be putting there money on the 49ers. It's funny to me, it probably means nothing, but I think Vegas and the NFL have something going on.
Hey, thanks for visiting this Web site. I'm glad you like it. Hopefully I can continue to help you out in survivor pools and such.
Well, the 49ers are a much different team on the road. I would never pick them away from home -- not until Alex Smith matures.
But right know, San Francisco is excellent at home. I posted some of Smith's numbers on my predictions page.
The Vikings' offense isn't anything special. If you guys can contain Chester Taylor, you have a great shot at winning.
As for the Vegas angle, a lot of people are still betting on the Vikings (81 percent of the money is on them). Add all of this up, and I like a 49ers upset. Even if they don't win, I think it'll be very close.
I gave you 100% on all your picks and a great site to check out everything you can think of. Your number #1 in my books for the best site. keep up the good job and your Teams mates.
