That was the greatest game I ever seen. I love college football it's so unpredictable. But damn Boise State's play calling was amazing. The lateral, and then the statue of liberty play was great. But the final score was 43-42.
That's the shame of it all -- Boise State is 13-0. Now what? They don't have any more games to play. Maybe they're the best team in the country. We'll never know.
I've written this countless times for the paper I write for, but the only way to get a playoff system in NCAA Football is for people to stop watching the bowls. If the ratings go down, the bowls will lose their sponsorships, meaning the college presidents will lose some of the blood money they're pocketing right now.
If that happens, they may switch to a playoff.
That's why I haven't watched any bowls this year, with the exception of Penn State-Tennessee because I had to cover that.
