Brett Favre-Packers, took the Pack to 9 come from behind victories
Most Passing Yards
Daunte Culpepper-Vikings, 8012 yards passing
Most Rushing Yards
Priest Holmes-Chiefs, 1828 yards rushing
Most all together yards
Michael Vick-Falcons, 7903 yards passing, 819 yards rushing
Most Sacks
Michael Strahan-Giants, heres one person Eli Manning is glad he never has to play against. Strahan will have 18 sacks, just beating out Greg Ellis with 15.
Best Passer Rating
Tom Brady- Patriots, 52 TDs, 3 INTs
Comeback Player of the year
Emmitt Smith- Cardinals, 1023 total yards rushing
Coach of the year
John Fox- Panthers, leading his team to a 12-4 record and favored to win it all 3 years after going 1-15. I would give this award to Bill Parcells, but I dont run the show.
Surprise team ( most improvement in wins from the year before)
Wahington Redskins- 6 game improvement
Disappointing team (team that has most decline in wins from the year before)
Miami Dolphins- 7 game tumble
Walt's Most unimportant player award
Eddie George- Cowboys, by the end of the year is a third stringer and ends his run of most consecutive games.
Offensive rookie of the year
Julius Jones- Cowboys, as one Cowboys tumbles another gets energized. Julius Jones will be in the hunt for the NFL's leading rusher.
Defensive rookie of the year
Robert Gallery- Raiders, will beat out Warren Sapp in midseason for a job and be an allpro lineman.
Best kicker
Adam Vinatieri- Patriots, only one miss
Best punter
Matt McBriar- Cowboys, average 58 yards a punt.( Walt you havent seen him. He punts 50 yards on every punt! He will be a very good surprise.)
