I dont know about you, Walt but I think around the Horn is going down hill fast. I just hate their new host. I know Reali's been there for more than a year but I cant stand it. He lets Mariotti win every time because he is a fellow Italian. Im an Italian Stallion myself but it gets annoying. Woody brings the meat every day in my oppinion, yet some how Mariotti wins. Cowlishaw is great. Plashcke gets annoying but is good most of the time, and Michael Smith has done more than a good job replacing Michael Holley. But I miss Kellerman. At least he was fair. And I miss the Disembodied voice. THE HORN!!!!!!!! Reali sucks at doing that. But when I miss Kellerman, Holley, and the Disembodied voice I just flip over to FOX Sports to watch I, Max.
I like Tony Reali. I think he does a good job, but Kellerman was great. I'd like to see him return one time and do a retro show with TJ Simers and Michael Holley. I still watch Around the Horn and PTI everyday.
Who is TJ Simers? Did he used to be on it. Ive only been watching a year now. I take back every good thing Ive ever said about Michael Smith he has lost his mind. He said Dallas is the worst team in the NFC East. HOW IN HELL DO YOU GET THAT! The Giants have nothing, NOTHING! Kellerman was great. Woody is always great. Mariotti gets on my nerves.
Yeah, really! I usually respect Michael Smith's opinion on the NFL but what was he talking about? Giants finishing 2nd in the NFC East? Dallas the worst in the NFC East? I can't believe he said that.
T.J. Simers used to be LA's guy before J.A. Adande replaced him. I liked Simers a lot; he was an old bitter man who used to fight with Mariotti and Woody.
JA Adande isnt the head guy from LA though, Reverend Bill is. By the way what do you think about Woody. Dang yesterday Plaschke really disappointed me. The Yankee Organization should be ashamed of themselves for trying to make the Rays frofeit. Just cause my 'Sox are about to catch em doesnt mean they have to try and claw a win away from the D-Rays. Thats what me and my friend always say. Woody argues for argument's sake sometimes. I think he just wants to get Mary-Otti mad. Have you ever gone to "woodypaige.com" he puts some great stuff on the site. Like he always refers to the Marriotti Unibrow Mariotti doesnt have a unibrow nut Woody always jokes and sais he does. So in woody's top ten favorite colors ( he does a top ten list much like Dave Letterman) number 8 I think was Mariotti uni-brown. I like Adande alot, but Plashcke is better. That was great that one episode. Woody had his best show in my oppinion a few weeks ago. It was the show where Woody went to showdown and he looked like he just won the lottery. He was beaming. Then in the finals one question was which book would you rather have Pam Anderson's book, or Plascke on Plaschke. Mariotti said Pam Anderson and Woody started making fun of Pam Anderson and said Plachcke's book. Woody won the Showdown and when he got his 15 seconds he said "12 years ago today the National Basketball Assotion, Assotion, Assocition, ASSOSIOTION" everyone cracked up and Woody spent all 15 seconds trying to pronounce association. That show was so funny that I almost had to excuse myself.
LOL, yeah Woody Paige is great. I remember that show. I was cracking up as well. I've never gone to woodypaige.com but I'll probably check it out today.
Yeah it would be like a Mariotti/Woody showdown everyday. It could change the power of the gaurd in Sports TV if they stole Mariotti and Woody from ESPN. Put I, Max on at 4:00 opposite Around the Horn, then have Woody and Mariotti's show on at 4:30 opposite PTI. I know I would change what I watched.
Well on PTI and the Woody/Mariotti show I would probably watch the Woody/Mariotti show at 4:30, then watch PTI on ESPNEWS at 5:30, do you have ESPN News? They also have Around the Horn on at 5:00, but without Woody or Mariotti I really dont think I would have any real reason to watch it. Maybe for Tim Cowlishaw but Around the Horn probably wouldnt last 2 weeks without Woody and Mariotti.
I was just thinking about that the other day. Around the Horn should get a new guy that appeals to the audience like Mariotti and Paige do because if either or both leave, that show will lose a lot of its audience. I would still watch it though.
