 Not sure if you caught this....I wanted to see what people thought about this...

Scoop Jckson has responded what he reagrds as unfair media coverage of the NBA all star weekend in Vegas.  I think this warrants discussion.  Scoop pooints out that the violence during All Star weekend was actually musch less (determined by number of arrests) than during new years in Vegas.  Somehow that escaped the national media.  Here is the link to Scoopr's article:


He was responding to the media coverage as a whole, I think most specifically to Jason Whitlock (AOl Sports formerly of ESPN.COM) and Bill Simmons (ESPN.COM).

Wow, that Simmons article is long. He's a great writer, but he needs to keep it under 1,000 words.

I don't know if I trust Scoop Jackson; it seems like he'll do anything to kiss NBA players' asses. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

I'm definitely with Simmons on this one. No way Vegas reported all of those crimes. Everyone who was there said it was a mob scene.
