Look at the level of competition he has played against.

8-31-06 at Iowa State
9-9-06 at Western Michigan
9-15-06 KANSAS
9-23-06 MCNEESE STATE
9-30-06 at Pittsburgh
10-7-06 CENTRAL MICHIGAN
10-14-06 at Kent State
10-21-06 at Eastern Michigan
10-28-06 AKRON
11-7-06 at Northern Illinois
11-14-06 BALL STATE
11-21-06 BOWLING GREEN

I'm not saying he sucks or anything. It's just hard to place him in an upper tier of TEs with the poor schedule he's played against.
He put up decent #s though: 54 catches, 565 yards, 7 TDs.

uper tier some of the T.E. you mention are under size not good blockers beckman and hill  are wr/t.e. but if you look at being complete toledo is in the top25 in rushing do to their dlb. t.e. You talk of Daris Hill on one year Hopkins been name all mac. for tow years by mac coaches base on his overall game each year not one season. we will talk all season but if sheffler could go on the first day and he played in the same conferance we will see
