Underdog Royale - Week 7
Permalink

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at Colts (-9)

TENNESSEE TITANS at Vikings (-7)

Eagles (-7) at CLEVELAND BROWNS

Seahawks (-7) at ARIZONA CARDINALS

CHICAGO BEARS at Buccaneers (-7)

I'm going with the Jaguars. You know how I feel about their chances against the Colts.

Standings:

Fricko - 1

Joey - 1

Me - 0

Anyone is welcome to join in. Just pick one of the five underdogs you think will win outright.

I try to be unbias, but I'm glad that the Jaguars beat the Colts. I feel as though they deserved to win the first time they played.

You know you have a favorite team. Everyone does. Gayle Gadner was on Sports Center Old School with Stu Scott, and they both said that Boomer likes the Steelers and 49ers. JB on Fox admits he likes the Redskins, Joe Theismann has said he still likes the Redskins, Moose and #88 both have said they still root for us. Collinsworth still picks the Bengals in outrageous games. And Marino has picked the Dolphins several times this season. Even these supposed "fair analysists" have a fave, and you do to................................................... Green Bay and Baltimore. You know it deep down.

Those old players like their old teams because they used to play for them. Unfortunately, I did not play for the Packers, Ravens, or any other teams in the NFL. There is no reason for me to like the Packers or the Ravens. The only teams I like change every week - they are the ones I pick to cover. For example, I was rooting for the Bills to beat the Ravens last week because I took Bills +6.

Boomer (Chris Berman, incase you thought I was talking about Esiason) didnt play for the Steelers or 49ers, JB didnt play for the Redskins. Im just saying everyone has a favorite.

Well, JB is from the D.C. area and Boom grew up in the Buffalo area, which is why he likes the Bills. He also helped design the West Coast offense with Bill Walsh, which is why he likes the Niners. I'm from the Philly area, so theoretically, I should like the Eagles - not the Ravens or Packers.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. Ive never heard Boom say he likes the Bills (poor man having to grow up in such a boring town). I dont know about JB, but Im just saying everyone has a favorite.

P.S.- Jason lives in California, and likes the Steelers.

Wrong wrong wrong? JB IS from D.C. and Boom likes the BILLS and 49ers. If you never heard him say he never likes the Bills, you must not watch him enough. That's a fact, you can't argue it. Boom's favorite teams are the Bills and Niners.

Explain him liking the Steelers, and Jason liking the Steelers.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong- Boom didnt help Bill Walsh invent the West Coast Offense, he was joking if he said he did.

I am a hugge Steelers fan. And that's no lie!

Sadly I live around a lot of Raiders fans...who oddly enough are jumping on my bandwagon. Bastards.

I have a friend from Pittsburgh who loves the Steelers and I will admit I am one of those bastards that you are talking about. I used to constantly tell him how rediculous the Steelers have become, now I have jumped on that bandwagon.
