Obviously, here in Texas I havent heard much about Joe Paterno, whether he retires, gets fired, or stays. Have you guys up their in Pennslvania heard anything?
Well I go to PSU and the people are split; about half want him out and half want him to stay. From what I hear, Paterno will not be fired and he will leave on his own terms. I get the feeling he just wants one more good year.
If Anthony Morrelli is the QB everyone expects him to be, PSU should be in the upper echelon of the Big Ten next season. They have a great defense, they have the RBs and they will have the best high school WR in the country next season (according to several recruiting sites). PSU also has Ohio State at home. They can go 9-2.
I think Ohio State is clearly the best team in the Big Ten next season because they had only one senior on defense this year and all of those freshmen will improve.
