1.)LaDanien Tomlinson/San Diego- This guy is the total package. He recieves the ball by pass, and rush better than any other RB in thew leauge. Hes an obvious #1 to me.
2.)Priest Homes/Kansas City- Many say that the KC O-Line should get more credit for Holmes rushing yards, and they should, but this guy is a beast. Did you see his stats before he got injured. Thats just down right scary.
3.)Shaun Alexander/Seattle- This is one of the most consistent backs in the NFL. He is 2nd in TD's over the past 3 years only behind Priest Holmes, and if returning to the Seahawks, he will be behind one of the best O-Lines in the leauge. 1800 yards isent out of the question.
4.)Ahman Green/Green Bay- Another great consistent back. He may have lost 2 big offensive linemen, and we will see how really good he is this year. And in my opinion, he will be just fine, barring any injuries.
5.)Deuce McCallister/New Orleans- After a slow start in 04, the #5 running back in the NFL recovered with one of the hottest teams in the last 3 weeks. He has carried the strong Saints offensive the past years.
6.)Clinton Portis/Washington- After moving away from the best running system in 04 in the blockbuster trade with Champ Bailey, he showed he could still run in a weak Washington offense. 1000 season is expected again in 05.
7.)Jamal Lewis/Baltimore- Lewis has the best combination of speed and power than any other running back. If he stays away from off field issues, he can repea his remarkable 03 season.
8.)Edgerin James/Indianapolis- Edge was sort of a unknown running back last season. He was behind the great season of Manning and his record breaking 49 TD's. He still was able to rack up a 1000+ yards and should be able to rpeat that preformence, though his future is stil unknown.
9.)Willis McGahee/Buffalo- His stats last year though not starting the full 16 games was amzing considering him coming off a major injury in the past. He will help out the "rookie" QB J.P Losman this year because he may struggle.
10.)Corey Dilon/New England- All Dillon needed was a little new scenery. He gave a huge boost to the Pats offense last year and needs to repeat it to give the pats 3 straight Super Bowls. Remember, he was out when they lost to Pittsburgh.
11.)Curtis Martin/New York Jets- Wow. The leauges leading rusher by 1 yard last year in Curtis Martin. I would have never predicted that and I know nobody else did going into the season. He showed he still has the magic.
12.)Tiki Barber/New York Giants- After having a 2 TD season in 03, he shocked everyone by having a career year in 04. I dont think he will do the same in 05 because last year he was only taking pressure off Manning and Warner. Manning has tooken a step up this year and so will his recievers.
13.)Julius Jones/Dallas- He did great behind a horrid O-Line last year and didnt even start the whole year. Not to mention 196 yards against the Seahawks on MNF. If you want a sleeper pick, pick Julius Jones, he wont disappoint.
14.)Brian Westbrook/Philadelphia- He was just what the Eagles were hoping for last year. A big passing and rushing threat, but he continues to hold out and lose hope for another Super Bowl run by the Philadelphia Eagles.
15.)Rudi Johnson/Cincinati- A sleeper pick for fantasy lovers last year snd this year. He is apart of a rising Bengal offense, and continues to make up for the loss of Corey Dillon. Oh yeah and a quick little stat, he was only 1 of 2 running backs to frush for 100 yards against the great Buffalo defense. Thats impressive.
Just missed.....
Steven Jackson- Should be a threat this or next year
Chris Brown- Athletic back when healthy
Warrick Dunn- On the #1 rushing team last year
Please post someone I forgot that is supposed to be on this list
But I did remember Fred Taylor, and I think his career is going down fast. He is a talented running back, but injuries are bringing him down. In fact, I heard he might not even play this season. You do have a case though, Jacksonville payed for it when he didnt play against the texans last year. 21-0
Benson will have the best year in 05, but I think Brown wil have the best carreer. Brown will get the most carries as did Ricky did in Miami, therefore, Ronnie Brown will have a good carrer
He should be like a ricky williams(not like off field issues) but by getting a lot of carries in Chicago. The bears need a good running attck and I think that was a great pick for there offense.
Im going to have to see how Muhammed works wihout Dellhomme. If Grossman becomes a pretty solid QB in the future, I would watch out for the bears next year. They need about a year to ajust
If LaDainian ran behind a great o-line, he'd rack up 4000 total yards. (3000 rushing, 1000 recieving.) I want on the JETS. Come on Tomlinson, the Jets need you. But on 2nd thought, I love the Chargers too.
I don't know about 3,000 yards. I could see 2000 rushing yards some time in his career.
I think Delhomme will do fine. His favorite target was Steve Smith before he got injured last year. Keary Colbert will be improved.

For the first time since Jim Kelly quarterbacked Chicago, they have a passing attack. Cedric Benson joins the rushing trio of Anthony Thomas and Thomas Jones and the defense is good. Chicago could go to Detroit in February if Rex Grossman can have a breakout season.
