There is no way that the Patriots are gonna be first. They are the luckiest team in the NFL. And another thing, they won their Super Bowl by total of nine points. Tom Brady is an overrated monkey. He is also is a 6th round John Elway wannabe. The Pats lost Weis and Crennel to Notre Dame and Cleveland, respectively. The Jets are better. 2002 ain't no fluke. They beat the Patriots fair and square. And the 31-0 spanking loss was't either. Tedy Bruschi suffered a stroke HAHAHAHA!!!!!! The Jets will take advantage.

And why would you call NBC's pregame and postgame garbage? You haven't even seen it yet.

Since I am a Patriot hater, I do beleive they get lucky sometimes. When you favor 1 team in the NFL, you say these things, and im the same way about the seahawks. I hate when they say they say Seattle will suck this year. The Jets will be good this year, and I dont agree with a 7-9 prediction(i say 10-6), but I still think the Pats are the best.

Pennington2coles, are you going to any Jets vs Bills game this year? Im going to the one @ Buffalo.

Speaking of Buffalo, I dont agree with your 4-12 prediction. I think they are way better then that, even with Losman.

I don't think you should laugh about anyone's stroke, regardless of who they are. My dad had a stroke three years ago and hasn't been the same since.

Based on the Jets schedule, Pennington's injury, Martin's age, the right side of the O-Line, Abraham and Ferguson missing on the D-Line, and the secondary, how can u say the Jets will repeat their 10-6 record? It's impossible.

Buffalo might be better than 4-12, but the best they will go is 6-10. How will they score any points?

I don't believe in luck. If a team appears to keep getting lucky, it's because they are really good.

31-0 wasn't a fluke? Then, how have the Pats beaten the Bills three straight since then, including a 31-0 victory later that year in week 17?

Do you really think NBC can put together a highlights show that compares with NFL Primetime? I've seen their Arena Bowl coverage, and it flat out stinks.

How will the Bills score points? Evans, and McGahee are getting better, and Losman may be good.

I don't think the Patriots have a weakness at ILB. Ted Johnson still starts at one spot, and they signed Monty Biesel and Chad Brown to play the position. Granted, they aren't as strong with Bruschi in the lineup, but I wouldn't call it a weakness.

McGahee is great, but opposing defenses will stack the line of scrimmage, forcing Losman to beat them. Even if he turns out to be a good QB, he will struggle his rookie season. 99% of rookie QBs do. Peyton Manning struggled with Marshall Faulk and Marvin Harrison.

That remaining 1% must be Big Ben. Right?

Yeah, Big Ben. Phil Simms also had a decent rookie season.

Walter, why do you hate the Jets? What makes you thing they wll do so bad this season? And why do you love the Patriots? They are a fraud hiding behind thir good form.

We added Coles, Nugent, Fiedler, Hermindinger, Rhode, Maddox, and very good depth and you think they are bad?????

I'll give you Coles. I'll even give you Nugent, even though he is a kicker.

Who cares about Jay Fiedler? Who cares about Andre Maddox? Who cares about Kerry Rhodes? They do not have depth.

I do not hate the Jets. I actually kind of like the Jets. Herman Edwards is one of my favorite coaches, Curtis Martin is one of my favorite players in the NFL and I've always believed in Chad Pennington.

However, these facts remain:

1. Pennington's shoulder is still hurt.

2. Martin is 32.

3. The Jets have an extremely tough schedule.

4. James Reed starts at defensive tackle.

5. John Abraham has no contract.

6. Adrian Jones is replacing Kareem McKenzie.

7. The Patriots are still much  better.

That's why I think they'll go 7-9. 9-7 at best.
