Ever since they suffer their last loss to Duke, UNC has been en fuego recently. They got their redempion against UM, beat GT who gave Duke a scare until they were too much, got a solid win at Wake, absolutely CLOBBERED NC State on the road, and humiliated Maryland at home. And this is a team who lost 7 players to graduation and the NBA.
What a job Roy Williams has done to this team after a MISERABLE 2001-2002 when the tar heels only won 8 games and had 20 losses that year with Matt Doherty coaching them..
Roy Williams is proving why he's an outstanding coach. I wouldn't want to play North Carolina right now. I'm not sure Duke wants to either. I'm probably going to call an upset on Saturday night.
I'd have to agree. Did you see what North Carolina did to Virginia tonight even though the Cavaliers were in a must-win situation? The Tar Heels will pull the upset. If not, the game will be extremely close.
