What a pathetic display that was. They need an impressive showing in the Big East Tournament. I'm talking about reaching the finals -- at least.

I was seriously thinking about taking Villanova -4½ over Syracuse. But I didn't want to bet against a team with its back against the wall in a revenge situation getting points at home. Villanova beat them anyway. If Syracuse qualifies for the NCAA Tournament, the Selection Committee will be keeping a more worthy team out of the Big Dance.
