The Hornets have signed Peja to a 5 year deal worth 64 mill, although the Hornets have not confirmed the official details of the contract. This is huge for the Hornets. Peja is a very good player. This has to be very disappointing for the Pacers. Trading Ron Artest for Peja, then Peja leaving as soon as the season ends.
I don't even think that the Pacers will be in the playoffs next season. It was iffy with Peja, without him it is almost definite in my mind. These are my playoff predictions....

Phoenix a No. 6 seed? I think they'll be in the top two.
$64 million for Peja Stojakovic? I don't think he's worth it. Think about it this way: he's getting almost as much money as Tom Brady is. That's just ridiculous.
I think its ridiculous how much money they play basketball players. The league should have never let it get so out of hand.
I think Phoenix is a 6 seed because the Clippers are my pick to win the Pacific Division and I think the Spurs will finish with a better record and my Lakers will build on last season's record.
