After everything is said and done in LA I am finally ready to write my projections for next season

Western Conference

1. Rockets 2. Kings 3. Spurs 4. Timberwolves 5. Nuggets 6. Hornets 7. Lakers 8. Mavericks

Eastern Conference

1. Heat 2. Pacers 3. Nets 4. Pistons 5. Cavaliers 6. 76ers 7. Bobcats 8. Celtics

In the first round of the Playoffs in the Western Conference, the Rockets will sweep the Mavericks, the T- Wolves will take down Mello's Nuggets in 5 games, Byron Scott will lose in the first round to end his first year in the Western Conference in 6 games, and everyone will be shocked when the Lakers beat the Kings in 5 games. In the 1st round in the East, the Heat will sweep the Celtics, The new Charlotte Bobcats will go down against the Pacers. But not without a fight, Pacers in 7. Then the Nets will beat the Sixers in 5 games. Then everyone will be shocked. In Game 7, between the defending champion Pistons and Cavaliers after it was 3-3 because each team won at home, the Cavs will upset the Pistons in Motown, Cavs in 7.

2nd round

Western Conference

1.Rockets 3. Spurs 4. Timberwolves 7. Lakers

Eastern Conference

1. Heat 2. Pacers 3. Nets 5. Cavaliers

In the West the Spurs will lose to the T-Wolves in 7. But the Lakers will pull off another upset, beating Rudy T's old team in 6 games. In the Eastern Conference, the Pacers like the Pistons last year will beat the Nets in 7 games. Then the Cavs just don't have the weapons to contain Shaq and they will go home in 5 games.

Bobcats??? I also think the T-Wolves will be seeded higher and may even win the championship.

I think Emeka Okefor, like Carmello Anthony last year is good enough to lead the Bobcats to the Playoffs. They are after all, in the Eastern Conference, which no matter what anyone sais, is still terrible. The Boston Celtics had a losing record and STILL made the Playoffs last year. The Clippers could have won a 7 game series with the Celtics. But with the Lakers beating the T-Wolves. I thought about this and think about the Lakers bench and how good it was last year. And they still have Kobe Bryant and a great coach. I think the Lakers are still just a better team than the T-Wolves. But I may be overrating the Lakers but I think that they will at least make the 2nd round next year. But they cant win the Finals. They didnt win it with Shaq they cant win it without him.
