FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE READ MY POSTS ON CLEV's OL PROBLEMS , I DONT SEE THEM SOLVING THIS ANY TIME SOON . SO I WAS IN THE HILTON THIS MORNING AND I BET AGAINST THEM IN THE FIRST WEEK OF THE REG. SEASON. THEY WERE LAYING 3 AT HOME TO N.O. I LIKE THE FACT THAT N.O. WITH RB's McALISTER AND BUSH WITH BREES AT QB THAT THIS TEAM WILL BE UNDER EVERYBODIES RADAR FOR THE START OF THE SEASON . IF CLEV PLAYS BADLY ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE PRESEASON ITS POSSIBLE THAT N.O. WILL GO OFF AS THE FAVORITE.
That's a tough game to pick for me because I had the Browns in this game before all of their recent problems. Even though Cleveland is having alot of line troubles, they still did add Willie McGinest and some other players through free agency and they still have Romeo Crenell on the sidelines and Reuben Droughns at runningback and Northcutt and Edwards at receiver. If I were as much of a betting man as you guys I dont think that I would make a play on this game. However, I am in a pot each week where we pick all of the games for that particular week and I think that I am going to pick the Saints. Poor Cleveland. They really just cant catch a break can they?
Tommy, you're right about that offensive line. Even though the Saints have a terrible defense, Cleveland won't have much luck scoring.
Before the Bentley injury, I was planning to take Cleveland, because I thought Romeo Crennel could coach circles around Sean Payton. But with the Browns' injury woes, I'd probably go with New Orleans.
