I've really been impressed with what Zygmund Wilf has done so far with the Vikings. I think he has made good decisions and has signed some great players and has gotten rid of most of the rotten apples on the team. What do you think Walter?
You can see Minnesota slowly turning things around. They needed to get rid of Daunte Culpepper, and they did. They needed to get rid of Randy Moss, and they did.
I think the Vikings had a great draft, and could sneak into the playoffs this year.
By the way, Tarvaris Jackson looks great, doesn't he?
Jackson does look good. He'll be the starter next season. The Vikings need a better running back, and I think they need a true number one receiver. Koren Robinson was cut, which was bound to happen, and in my opinion another good move. I also think Dwight Smith will be leaving, as fast as he came. I think the Vikings should get rid of Fred Smoot aswell. They paid top dollars for him last year, and he was a bust.
I love how the Vikings played against the Redskins. I love the fact that they never stopped running the ball, even though there were only getting 2 yards a carry. Brad Johnson threw pretty good, and the defense stepped it up at the end of the game. I think Brad Childress will make a good head coach. Vikings are becoming one of my favorite teams.
Brad Childress has really impressed me thus far considering that I thought that he was one of the worst new coaches hired this offseason and he's done a great job. The Vikings look like a playoff team.
I like how he has already made an imprint on this team by being a tough disciplinarian. The Vikings under Tice were aloof and couldn't win on the road. Childress has already turned things around. Very impressive.
Minnesota needs to get a real field in the worst way. Tice was only part of the problem. They struggle outdoors because they play in a dome all the time. I'd like to see Minnesota become rough-and-tough like they were in the 70's. They should get an outdoor stadium.
