Walt, Dallas is going to be better than you predicted for these games. I will put them in order from easiest for the Cowboys to win to hardest.

v.s Washington: Walt, Dallas owns Washington. Joe Gibbs is a fantastic coach but Washington is Dallas's bitch. You have Dallas embarrasing the Skins in Washington on Monday Night Football so how could you have them losing in Texas. The Redskins are afraid of the Cowboys. And thats why as Cowboys coach Parcells will never lose to the Redskins.

Projection: Dallas 34, Washington 7

@ Cincinnati: What is Cinci's speciality, Offense or Defense. Oh yeah! Its Offense. The Dallas defense will beat Carson Palmer to a pulp, and cut through Cincinnati's less than perfect O Line. While on the other side of the ball Cincinnati's Defense is terrible! While Dallas's offense is well improved and could be a top ten Offense. Dallas will score at will, with one side being the small but fast Julius Jones, and the other being the Monster truck Eddie George. This combination and the 1-2 punch of Vinny Testaverde and Quincy Carter could serve a blowout to the Bengals.

My projection: Dallas 23, Cincinnati 3

@ Philadelphia: I would not be shocked if Dallas lost this game but I think Dallas will win. Philadelphia sold the farm to get Terrell Owens, in other words they have no defense anymore. That top ten defense from 2 years ago is now one of the worst if not the worst Defense in football. Dallas will score at will against this joke of a Defense. And then Much like Ray Lewis and the badboy Ravens will kill TO. So will the Cowboys have great coverage and forcing McNabb to throw the ball in tight spots. This way... 1. McNabb will hold the ball too long and get sacked by Ellis, Wiley, Coakley, or Williams, or 2. McNabb will throw the ball into tight spots and get picked off by Newman, or Williams. Dallas finally has the formula to sweep the Eagles.

My progection: Dallas 33, Philadelphia 28

Just maybe:

@ Green Bay: 14-2 may be a stretch for this Dallas team but Brett Favre is 1-9 all time against the Dallas Cowboys. And that one win was when Switzer was coach. Dallas has beaten every other time. Brett Favre has the biggest losing percentage against the Falcons and the Cowboys. I dont think it will change. In Overtime I say Dallas will edge the Packers out

My progection: Dallas 41, Green Bay 38 (OT)

I was not aware that Favre was 1-9 against the Cowboys. I'll have to reconsider that result.

I have Dallas losing to Cincinnati in a shocker, only because they play the Eagles on Monday Night Football the following week. Every year, every single team loses a game that they shouldn't lose. Most of the time, it's because they are looking ahead to a far more "important" game. Bill Parcells is one of the best coaches in the NFL, but his teams have had a history of taking a game off in anticipation of a more difficult one.

You're right about Philly's defense, which is why I have them exiting quickly in the playoffs. However, do the Cowboys have the offense to take advantage of the Eagles' weak defense? I think they'll split. If Julius Jones turns out to be a stud running back, perhaps Dallas will win in Philadelphia, but for now, I don't think so.

I know Dallas owns Washington, but this is a brand new team, coached by a Hall of Famer. I think Joe Gibbs will have his troops step up to the Cowboys and win one this year.

Here are Brett Favre's results against Dallas

Dallas 20-17

Dallas 36-14

Dallas 27-17

Dallas 42-31

Dallas 35-9

Dallas 34-24

Dallas 38-27

Dallas 21-6

Green Bay 45-17

Dallas 27-13

There was not one game, Parcells overlooked last year, They lost to Atlanta. Billy Cundiff missed 3 Field Goals, and one extra point. Plus Carter threw 2 INTs. They lost to Tampa, Quincy Carter threw 5 INTs. They lost to New England. New England just outplayed them. They lost to Miami, the Defense allowed 300 yards in that game, they lost to Philly, it stayed close until Halftime when Quincy Carter threw 3 INTS and got sacked in the endzone. They lost to New Orleans, New Orleans just outplayed Dallas. Cincinnati's Defense is not good enough to stop the Dallas Offense.

Philadelphia's Offense even with TO is not very strong, and when a good Defense meats a good Offense, youve said it yourself the Good Defense always wins.

I do believe that someday soon, Dallas's streak against Washington will end. But not this year. Clinton Portis, Mark Brunell, Joe Gibbs, and the rest of the crew need to get some chemistry before they win together. Gibbs will defeat Dallas eventually, but not this year.

You said that New orleans outplayed Dallas. How can that be? The Saints stink. There's a reason why they outplayed them and that's because Parcells didn't get the Cowboys focused for the game. In fact, I remember one Cowboy (I can tell you who it is if you really want me to because I have film on the game) ran on to the field without his helmet.

OK. I concede that point to you. But trust me. Parcells would NOT have let them just lose that game. The Players gave up, not Parcells. Parcells didnt even let the starters sit on the bench like most coaches do, because he stresses that 1 game could determine the outcome of the entire season. Just like Dallas beating New York, pretty much determined the Giant's season. They were never the same after that game.

Well that New York game was an important divisional one, against a bitter rival. The Saints probably didn't mean much to the Cowboys, which is why they came out flat. It was the players' fault. However, Parcells failed to get them focused. I'm not blaming the Tuna for anything, because every single coach in the NFL can not get his players focused for every game. It's just too hard in today's NFL.

The player who forgot his helmet was Eric Ogbogu.

Oh. Well Ogbogu was a dip**** anyway, I thought it was Roy Williams. But I aggree. He couldnt get them focused. Even though, did you hear Tuna's press conference yesterday? He was saying " I have a pretty good team, 10-6 last year, shouldve been 11-5, we would have made it farther if we were 11-5." So he tried his best to focus them, but I aggree when you already have the playoffs in your hand, it is hard to be too focused. But it was the Players fault.
