I've been very surprised with the way the 49ers have played recently. I predicted them to only win about 4-6 games the whole season, and now they are 4-5 and fighting for the divison. Our defense was terrible in the beginning, it's not great now, but it's been a huge improvement. The Vikings have no offense but anybody could score on us and we only held them to 3. Detroit sucks, but has a good offense, and we shut them down, they only scored 13, 7 off of a turnover. Our offense was good and defense was bad in the beginning, now it's kind of the other way around. Gore is great, and was a steal in the draft, and Smith in the most improved player I think. This is a huge game against a division rival, and I think we might win, but I still have hope. We play well at home, and Seattle barley beat us last year, 27-25, and Ken Dorsey was our qb. Without Alexander, and Hasselback who I think is still out, we do have a legitimate shot. We just have to pressure Wallace, and force him to turnover. Jerry Rice's retirement is bring celebrated on that day, and Mike Nolan might be wearing a suit lol so I hope that motitvates our team, and show the NFL we are for real.
I've been right 6 times and wrong 3 times when picking Seahawks games, so I think your comment is uninformed and unjustified, assuming you were talking to me.
Keep in mind that the Rams covered last week against the Seahawks, so picking the Rams was the right side.

no its not directed at you. your just making honest picks with reasoning behind them. its people that say "the seahawks will lose, the niners will be great". just as a couple of weeks ago someone said the hawks were too mentally weak to beat the rams. what do u call beating a rams team with your starting qb and running back out?
That was an impressive win by the Seahawks, no question about it.
The reason I like the 49ers this week is because I think Seattle will be flat. Mike Holmgren had tears in his eyes following last week's game, and I don't think they'll take the 49ers seriously. Plus, Seattle has a comfortable 2-game lead in its division, so I think this contest means more to San Francisco.
I guess we'll just have to see. Whoever wins, I think it'll be close.
You can't blame somebody for rooting for their team to win. Seattle is a very good team even without Alexander, and Hasselback, they are even defending NFC champs. The seahawks are coming off an emotional win though. The niners play Seattle tough at home, and I think this years team is a lot better than last years, as I stated before the 49ers lost 27-25 against Seattle with Hasselback and alexander, with KEN DORSEY as the qb.
