Good draft Walt, I agree with basically every pick. You have the 49ers taking Leon Hall with their pick, but do you think he is the best player avaliable at that time? I know they will be drafting defense unless they have a shot at Calvin Johnson, and the gm said it's easier to build a defense because offense requires chemistry and timing, while on defense you just put players who are fast and have athletic ability. They really need to build a defense in this draft, but I think their first 3 picks will be defense. I really want them to get Alan Branch from Michigan.
I see them going for defense as well. Getting Alan Branch will be tough because he's going in the top 10. Leon Hall's had a great season, and is also a top 10 candidate. I could see the 49ers going for a defensive end like Quentin Moses or Lawrence Jackson. Safeties Reggie Nelson and LaRon Landy are also possibilities.
Hey Walter, I like the mock. I however don't see Reid drafting a saftey in the first round. They need one but he will probally pick a LB,DE or DT. It's just the way he does things.
I could see a defensive lineman, and while I think the Eagles definitely need a linebacker, Andy Reid has never drafted one with a No. 1 pick. I hope he changes that, but given his history, I don't see that happening.
